Our Hive Arrives Soon!

Albany School of Humanities has been selected to receive an observational bee hive through a grant provided by Whole Kids Foundation and The Bee Cause. Our Hive equipment will arrive in February and our bees at a later date. Our honey bee hive will live on campus and pollinate plants and flowers in the Whitehall Road corridor. ASH teachers will begin to incorporate pollinator education into the science curriculum at each grade level. To help our hive thrive we need parent and community volunteers to help throughout the year, especially on school breaks.

Beecome our Bee Mentor!

We need a Bee Mentor! Part of building our hive not only includes forming a Bee Club but also working with an active bee keeper who can guide us in the care of our bees. If you fit the criteria below and would like to help the ASH hive thrive please email the PTA at albanyashpta@gmail.com
